Our third grade AIG students have been working together in lots of different groups. Here is a shot of some students decoding a challenging story about Fat Cat.
What is it? What can it mean? All those weird symbols... Well, these are some examples of how third grade students have ended the story of Fat Cat. This decoding activity had students working to figure out symbols of the Nurtz alphabet. Each symbol represents a letter in our alphabet. The final activity was to finish the story - using the Nurtz alphabet! There was only one clue, btw, ask them about it!
Fifth grade ESG students only recently completed their simulation: The Great Ocean Rescue. Congrats to Team Warren for spending the least money in completing all four missions. Here is a handy-dandy compilation of how teams performed. Ask your kids about their decisions and how things worked!
